This data privacy statement informs users on the ways, extent and purpose of the collection and use of personal information by the responsible operator of this website (in the following “operator”). The legal bases for data privacy protection can be found in the federal data protection act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz – BDSG) and the Teleservices Act (Telemediengesetz – TMG).

The operator (or its webspace provider) collects data in connection with any access to the website (so called server log files). The following kinds of information form part of the access data: name of the accessed website, data retrieved, date and time of the access, volume of data transmitted, information whether data retrieval was successful, data identifying the web browser type and version, the operating system of the user, referrer URL (the site visited before), IP address and requesting provider. The operator only uses these log data for statistical analysis for the purposes of operating the website, system security and optimization of the offer. However, the operator reserves the right to evaluate log data at a later stage, if there are concrete indications that lead to a justified suspicion of an illegal use.

Personal data is information which allows the identification of a person, i.e. data which can be retraced to a particular person. This information includes the name, e-mail address or telephone number. Also, information on preferences, hobbies, memberships or information on which websites are visited by a person belong to the personal data. Personal data will only be collected, used and transferred to others by the operator, if this is legally allowed or the users consent to the collection of the data.

When a user makes contact with the operator (for example by using the contact form or by e-mail) the user’s data will be stored for the purpose of handling the request and for the case connected questions arise.

With our newsletter we inform you on ourselves and our offers. If you wish to receive the newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address and information which allows us to make sure that you are the owner of this e-mail address or that its owner consents to the receipt of the newsletter. We will not collect any further data. These data will only be used for sending the newsletter and will not be shared with third parties. If you subscribe to our newsletter we will store your IP-address and the date of the subscription. This storage only serves as evidence in case a third person abuses an e-mail address and subscribes to the newsletter without knowledge of the owner of the e-mail address. You may revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. The revocation can be made through a link in the newsletter itself, in your user area or by communication to one of the above detailed methods of contact.

It is possible that this online offer includes contents of third parties, for example YouTube videos, maps from Google-maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites. This always implies that the providers of these contents (in the following referred to as “third party provider”) detect the user’s IP address. Without this IP address they could not send the contents to the user’s browser. The IP address is therefore necessary for the reproduction of these contents. We do our best to only use contents from providers who only use the IP address in order to transmit the contents, but we have no influence if the third party provider for example stores the IP address for statistical purposes. If this is known to us, we will inform our users correspondingly.
